We're all football supporters and we like to see good football matches.

The Scottish guys are very good fighters who have no fear of playing against the likes of Italy and France etc.

They have a squad with no "single-players" like other squads - they are a team!
Thats why we founded the BerlinTartan Army last summer.

There are not so many members just now but we hope to recruit more Tartan Army Foot Soldiers when Scotland play in the World Cup-Qualifiers.

We love also the spirit and the atmosphere in Hampden Park and away is absolutely fabulous!

Nairn TA Was first thought about in October sometime (Cant remember) and we had our first "Formal" meeting on Tuesday 27th November.

Tthe committee was chosen from the collection of people present on the night.

We all agreed on a manifesto that we felt was right for the club and advised everyone to fill out Membership forms for both Nairn TA and the SSC.

We carried on drumming up support from locals and have, to date got approx 60 people wanting to join.

There are 10 of us full SSC members and are struggling to get the rest on board due to the high demand of the SSC.

For years while following Scotland, the Plean lads used to bump into each other at matches and in the Counting House, but all in pairs and traveling to and from games separately.

In April 2007 whilst sitting in The Clansman I announced to the lads that I had made a web site and had bought the domain name WWW.THEPLEANTARTANARMY.CO.UK

We've had over 10,000 hits in one year. I put it to lads there and then to run a branch from the Clansman pub located on the main street in the village of Plean

One year on we have 27 members 18 of which are SSC members. We have raised £750 for charity and made our first away trip as a club to Paris where we will never forget being in the Parc de Princes after walking in the march and seeing faddy score his wonderful goal to send us into dreamland!!!
